At CareShield we are thrilled to be part of the celebration of National Apprenticeship Week! This special occasion shines a spotlight on the incredible opportunities apprenticeships bring, especially across the health and social care sector.
🤝 Investing in Our Future
Apprenticeships are not just about learning new skills; they are an investment in the future of care. We believe in nurturing talent and empowering individuals to become skilled professionals in the care sector. Our apprenticeship programs offer a unique blend of hands-on experience and comprehensive training, equipping our learners with the knowledge, skills, behaviours and confidence to excel in their roles.
💼 Boosting Staff Retention Through Learning and Development
We understand the concerns some managers and leaders may have regarding staff turnover, and some may feel that investing in employee development could lead to their staff seeking other opportunities elsewhere.
However, In line with findings from Skills for Care, their data paints a different picture. They state that by investing in the learning and development of your team, you are not just enhancing their skills; you are fostering loyalty and commitment.
Research shows care workers who receive training opportunities demonstrate significantly lower turnover rates. From a staggering 40.6% among those without qualifications to just 26.5% among those with qualifications, the impact is clear, the more training a care professional receives, the lower the turnover rate becomes. It is a testament to the value of continued investment in staff development.
